With the rise and temperature the carp are getting ready for spawning meaning the fishing was tricky in areas. Jamie Wilde managed to still pull out a great 137lb from moat island 2. Jmaie fished meat and pellet down to the marginal reeds for 24 carp to 8lb

Daz Oldham opted for a shallow approach with pellet and meat, catching carp steadily all match at 1-2 ft deep

Paul Schoof once again performed well using paste to edge victory in this well attended open match today. Paul caught carp too 10lbs in his ton-plus winner net.
Ben Dales had to settle for second place today. Ben caught carp and bream shallow on the pole at 13m using pellet and luncheon meat for another ton-plus net.
Alan Tait also fished shallow on the pole to catch mainly carp in his ton-plus net and third place overall.
Dave Farr was today's winner fishing meat on the pole at 6m and 10m over pellet and groundbait.
Mal Fellows fished short pole with corn and pellets to catch carp and skimmers for his second place net.
Terry Sears edged the close third place fishing banded pellet on the deck at 11m.
Robin Walker was today's winner with a nice net of carp taken on luncheon meat shallow at 12m on the pole.
Paul Schoof continued his good form fishing paste again on the pole over hemp and pellets.

Following a weekend with lots of fish caught, today was always going to be a harder match. Kn Pacey caught mainly carp using pole and paste tactics for the victory.

'King' Arthur Berisford continued his recent good run with another victory today. Arthur caught mainly carp on short pole with worm and groundbait. Arthur picked up the bonus of a £300 golden peg to cap his day off.
Ian Marshall fished corn to the margins and netted carp and silvers for a nice ton-plus second place net today.
Gordon Gibson took the close third place with a nice net of margin caught carp using cat meat over pellets.

Arthur Berisford won this friday afteroon match from unfancied peg 33 on moat outer. Arthur alternated worm and corn at 6 and 9m for carp and skimmers
Paul Elliott also used worm to good effect. Paul fed hemp and pellet at 12m and caught carp steadily all match
Dave Dare fished maggots and worm into the margins for carp to 12lb

Dave Whiting won this vets match from bridge Isl 23. Dave started by dobbing 3 carp on 3 red maggots and later switched to worms on the deck for 10 carp
Ken Stephenson was best on croft with 48lb. Ken fished corn and pellet at 10m and down the edge for all tench to 2lb

Matt Westley won this fridat afternoon match from outer 10. Matt fished pelleta dn catmeat short and doiwn the edge for only 10 carp
Paul Schoof opted for paste over pellet at 12m for his 2nd place finish

With the carp preoccupied with spawning this was a tougher match for the vets on moat pool. Roger Holmes managed to find a few feedinng carp from island peg 6. He fished banded 6 and 8mm pellet for 16 carp and a few skimmers
Reg Turner fished meat shallow at 13m for 10 carp and afew skimmers he alternated between 1 and 3ft deep

Dave Speight came second with 137lb. Dave fished short pole with corn, pellet and meat for carp to 14lb
Steve Robbins fished down the margin with corn and pellet over groundbait for 3rd place
Reed pool was the place to be for this latest vets monday match. Dave Whiting fished paste over pellet at 11 m for 105lb of carp to 6lb
Ray Abbs fished expander pellet over micros short and down the edge for 2nd place
Neil Hirst also used pellet to good effect catching carp to 4lb
Geoof Wilde won this well attended Sunday open from outer 110. Geoff fished corn and pellet into the margins for 13 carp to 14lb
Pete Miles fishe short pole with worms and pellet cone for carp and skimmers and 2nd place
Martin Watson alternated maggots and casters short and down the edge for carp into double figures
Stev Clark won this saturday open from island 47. Steve fished worms and maggots short and down the edge for a mixed net of carp and skimmer bream
Chris Greenside fished shallow with 6mm banded pellet for 16 carp and a few skimmers
Nathan Watson fished long pole down the marginb with dead maggot for carp to 8lb
Steve Marshall was the winner with another magnificent net of carp. Steve fished shallow on the pole using banded pellet and caught carp throughout the match.
Paul Schoof's good week continued with another framing Ton-Plus net of carp. Paul caught once again on paste over pellet and hemp.
Steve Clark edged the close third place with the help of a good run of carp late on from his margins using double corn and groundbait.

The stong winds and early rain certainly put anglers off today, but those who turned up caught well this afternoon. Jamie Masson was the clear winner falling just short of a double ton plus weight. Jamie fished pellet on the pole and feeder to the far bank for his brilliant net of carp.
Steve Robbins caught carp and the odd bream fishing corn over pellet on the short pole and margin lines.
Nigel Wood edged the close third spot fishing corn on the T-Bag with pellets to the middle of Moat for another Ton Plus net of carp.
Falling just shy of the Ton mark, Dave Whiting finished today's winner. Dave caught mainly carp using worm and groundbait at 11m and down the margins.
Malc Thompson took second spot with a nice mixed net of carp and bream fishing short pole with casters and groundbait.
Paul Schoof alternated between paste and pellet on the pole at 11m to catch carp and the odd skimmer and third place overall.
