Andy Oldham finished the clear winner today with a decent ton plus net of carp. Andy caught half his weight shallow with pellet and the other half on the deck using worms and hemp.
Andy Sellars took second place fishing a shallow waggler with meat to the middle of Moat. Andy netted carp too 10lbs in his ton-plus net.
Tony Butt caught steadily throughout the match using meat and corn on a short pole line over pellet and groundbait.
This year's clubman final was a well attended event with nearly 50 anglers competing for the prizes. Gerry Schoof opted for an all out paste attack today and caught big carp throuout the match at 6m and 11m to finish this years champion.
Malcolm Fellows edged the close second place fishing 8mm luncheon meat over pellets at 8m on the pole. Malcolm netted carp and bream.

Bob Poole made the most of a god margin peg and netted a mixed bag of fish for just over the ton. Bob also had the added bonus of winning from the Golden Peg, so pocketed an extra £300 cash.
Dave Whiting changed his usual tactics and caught carp and bream using paste on short pole and to the margins for just short of the ton.
Gordon Gibson took third spot with some nice sized carp caught on pole and cat meat.
Shane Pimperton was the winner in this year's last Friday Afternoon match. Shane caught carp and bream fishing short pole with luncheon meat and caught throughout the match for his ton plus net.
Arhur Berisford took second place also fishing short pole, but Arthur used worm and maggot as his main baits.
Pete Miles made the most of a good spell late on down his margins where he caught big carp on meat and corn for third spot.

Paul Elliott continued his great season with a magnificent victory in this final Tuesday afternoon match of the year. Paul caught using a combination of corn and worms on pole and pellet cone.
Mick Hall claimed second place with a nice ton-plus net of margin caught carp. Mick used pellet and corn to catch from both side margins.
John Smalley fished the pole at 12m using paste and hemp to take thid place this afternoon.
Dropping temperatures followed a drop in the weights today, but Roger Holmes still managed to catch carp shallow on the pole. Roger caught using banded pellet and meat at 10m.
Alan Tait edged second spot using pellet on the pole at 13m to catch carp and bream.
Stephen Cook fished worms and ground bait on the pole at 8m and netted carp too 9lbs for third place.
Ian Jowell won this sunday open from moat island 38 with 141lb. Ian fished pellet and meat short for a steady run of carp to 9lb

John Powell fished pellet short for a mixed net of carp and skimmer bream
With 9 weights over 100lb and 2 over 200lb this was one of the best saturday opens of the year. Rob Austin fished pellt and meat short at 6m for 28 carp to 12lb
