There was some cracking weights in this sunday open on maot and bridge pool. Daz Oldham went 1 better than the day before with an awesome 218lb. Daz alternated shallow pellet and corn in the margins for 30 carp to 12lb
Nathan Watson just fell short of the double ton from bridge island 16. Nathan also used shallow tactics to good effect for his 2nd palce finish.

With the heavy rain pushing the fish down today, Pete Bagshaw capitalised by catching carp on pellet cone to the middle of Moat.

Craig Owen also fished shallow today, but caught some bonus carp from the margins in the last hour using pellet and meat.

Roy Toulson won this thursday vets match from moat outer 67. Roy fished pellet over micros and 4mm pellet at 8m for carp to 8lb

Andy Oldham continued his good run with another victory and just short of the ton plus mark. Andy fished shallow for the second half of the match and caught mainly carp on pellets.
Despite losing a 10lb carp when his landing net broke, Pete Miles still managed second place with a nice net of carp caught from the margins using worms.

This Friday's match turned out to be a tough challenge as bites were hard to come by until late on. Dave Whiting continued his great form of late, winning today with a mixed net of carp and bream caught on worms at 11m on the pole.
Second place went to Andy Oldham who caught carp shallow in the last 2 hours of the match using pellets.
