The first afternoon match of the year saw a great attendance today. Mick Hall profited well from a late spell down the margins where he netted carp too 9lbs using corn over groundbait to win the match.
Paul Schoof took second spot fishing long pole with pellet and sometimes swithced to paste to catch mainly carp.
Rich Teigh also caught well down the margins using corn and pellets to edge third place.
The flat conditions today certainly seemed to affect the fishing as weights dropped from the weekend. Ken Pacey took the honours with a mixed net of carp and skimmers caught on long pole with expander pellet.
Ian Temple fished corn and pellet to the margins and netted carp and silvers for second place.
Dave Speight fished the pole at 9m with large expander pellets to edge third place today.
