Andy Whitehouse blitzed this Thursday field with an impressive 161lb. Andy fished shallow with 6mm banded pellet at 13m for carp to 12lb.
Roy Toulon was best weight off Croft with 96lb. Roy fished pellet and corn at 6m for carp and skimmers.

The strong winds certainly seemed to stir the fish into a feed today as carp were netted from all around the lake. Lee Hewison blitzed the win with a magnificent 2 ton plus. Lee caught on bomb and waggler using corn and pellets.
Andy Cordall took second spot catching well on both pole and feeder.

Weights have slowed of late on Moat oool, however Neil Vernon still caught an impressive 100lb catch. Neil fished waggler shallow with 8mm pellet for 16 carp to 12lb.

Lost fish were the talk of the day for many anglers not adequately prepared for the size of carp. Martin Parsons caught fishing pellet on short pole over 4mm feed pellets.

The final afternoon match of the year turned out to be a great close match. Nigel Wheatcroft edged the day with some decent carp taken from the margins using wormd and groundbait.
