The size of the lakes available allowed anglers to be pegged with wind off their backs today to make fishing more comfortable. Paul Elliott made the most of a good peg today as he blitzed the field and continued his phenominal run of matches. Paul caught on pole and bomb using corn and worms as hook baits.

Stuart Gray edged into second spot fishing hairrigged corn on a groundbait feeder to the far side of Moat and caught carp too 7lbs.

Daz Newman finished third overall with the top weight from Bridge. Daz caught on long pole using corn and meat over hemp and groundbait.

Jamie Masson won the overall weight match with 86lb of carp. Jamie caught some on the feeder to the far side then took a few bonus carp from the margins using meat and corn.
Paul McIntyre finished first in the Silvers and second overall today. Paul caught Skimmers and carp on the pole at 12m using expander pellet over feed pellets.
Pete Bagshaw took third spot fishing banded pellet on the pellet feeder to the middle and far side of Moat.
The changing weather this week made for a hard match on Moat today. Terry Sears made a rare appearance to win the match with a mixed net of carp and skimmers. Terry fished single caster over hemp and caster at 6m and caught skimmers thoughout the match.
Barry Rance edged second spot with carp caught on pellet feeder to the far side of Moat. Barry used hairigged corn as hookbait.
Pete Tatley also caught carp on the feeder today, but used groundbait and dead maggot tactics.
Ron Brooks won this Monday veterans match with a mixed net of carp and bream caught on pole and pellet at 8m.

Cold Heavy overnight rain put pay to good weights for this thursday vets match. Dave Sewell still managed to tempt some of the large resident hallcroft carp to feed from outer 41. Dave fished 6mm expander over 4mm pellet for carp to 9lb
Mick Hall was best weight off croft from peg 3. Mick alternated meat and pellet shallow and on the deck at 14m for carp and skimmers

With the colder weather moving in the carp are starting to show signs of shoaling up in areas. The bowl on Moat look a good bet before the start and Ian Jowell produced a great performance to confirm that fact. Ian caught carp throughout the match using meat and corn on short pole.
Steve Quibell continued his god run of form with another framing ton plus net of carp today. Steve caught carp and the odd skimmer on pole and luncheon meat.
Arthur Berisford finished third overall with some decent carp caught on pole with corn over micro pellets.
Andy Sellars took first place today with nice ton plus net of carp. Andy caught on short pole with meat, then long pole with corn and switched to margins late on.

The cold wet conditions dropped the numbers fishing today, but those who braved the weather were rewarded with some good fishing. Mick Hall caught carp and bream using pole with maggot, corn and pellet as his main baits for a decent ton-plus net.
Mal Fellows took second spot with a nice ton-plus net of big carp caught on the pole at 8m using expander pellet over feed pellets.
Third place went to Dave Sellars who netted his top match weight today, just a bream shy of the ton mark. dave also caught carp on the pole at around 8m.
