Steve Clark blitzed this Sunday field with 50lb of carp. Fishing maggot, pellet and corn in conjunction with a small feeder was Steves winning tactics
Mal Edgecombe fished feeder with banded 6mm pellet for carp to 7lb and 2nd place
Dave Downes caught all his carp on 3 red maggots on the feeder
Stuart Else won his second match of the year from moat island 64. Stuart alternated pellet and maggot on bomb and small feeder for carp to 10lb
Nigel Potter used similar tactics to the winner but fell just ounces short weighing 36-10-0

With ice on the lakes silver fish were the order of the day for the Veterans on moat pool. Arnie Payling fished maggot and pinkie over groundbait at 11m for 27lb of skimmer bream
Steve Richards also fished pole tactics with maggot and pinkie for his skimmer net and 2nd Place
Dave Sellars fished dead maggot at 12m for skimmers to 2lb
With ice melting over the weekend this was a tough match for the vets on bridge pool. Ken Pacey opted for a wag and mag approach catching 2 carp and some silver fish
Nigel Wood fished maggot and caster over groundbait at 13m for skimmers and roach
Dave Sellars also fished maggot for his silver fish net
For the second round in a row, anglers were greeted with the lakes covered in ice and the boat was put into use to clear the pegs to fish. Sean Cameron fished maggot on the pole over a small amount of groundbait to catch mainly skimmers for the overall win today.

Arthur Berisford tok second place also catching skimmers on the pole. Arthur fished caster and pinkie over groundbait at 9m.

Pete Miles struggled early on, but switched to his diagonal line at 8m and caught skimmer bream on maggot over joker and leem to take third place.

Once again only certain areas saw some feeding carp today after another frost. Andy Sellars fished maggot on a groundbait feeder to the middle of Moat and netted all carp for the win today.
John Barningham also caught carp on the feeder, but used hairrigged corn as hook bait to take second place overall.
Pete Miles fished maggot over groundbait and joker to finish in third spot and picked up the Silverfish prize with his great net of skimmers.
The couple of early morning frosts this week certainly affected the carp feeding today. Arnie Payling made the most of some feeding carp in front of him and caught using feeder and corn tactics to win today.
Ian Temple edged the battle for second place with a nice net of all skimmers caught at 10m on the pole with maggot and groundbait.
Third place went to Steve Richards who also caught all silvers on the pole at 8m using groundbait and casters.
On a bitter cold day, the anglers that turned up opted for a change which also enabled more favourable wind conditions. Ken Pacey fished maggot on the pole and caught carp late on to win today.
Dave Sellers also fished maggot on the pole for some nice silvers, then landed a couple of carp on bomb and corn for second place.
Trevor Furby caught carp on the groundbait feeder with corn to finish third overall today.
Mal Edgecombe just got the verdict in this sunday open on mot pool. Mal fished a small cage feeder with groundbait and micros and banded 6mm pellet for carp to 8lb
Pete Miles also used tip tactics to good effect alternating corn and maggot on the hook for 1 fish short and 49lb
Ben Holmes alternated feeder and pole with maggot and pellet for a mixed net of carp and skimmers
Sean Cameron continued his good form with this win from moat isalnd 40. With the strong winds Sean fished a groundbait feeder with pellets and hair rigged corn for carp into double figures
Arthur Berisford opted to fish pva bag with micros and hair rigged corn on the hook for 4 carp and a few skimmers
Gary Mumby fished feeder with pellets and maggots for a mixed bag of carp and skimmers
The mild weather certainly put the carp in the mood to feed today as fish were caught all around Moat. Pete Bagshaw finished on top from an area that hasn't been producing of late. Pete caught all carp on a groundbait feeder with pellet.
Arnie Payling took second spot also with a net of carp and the odd bream. Arnie caught from the middle of Moat using groundbait and dead maggot.
Dave Downes also caught on a tip rod, but switched between pellet and corn as hook baits to finish third overall.
Ken Pacey opted to fish a waggler with caster today, and this proved a good choice as he came away clear winner with some nice winter carp caught on maggot.
Dave Farr finished second with carp caught on the groundbait feeder with hairrigged corn.
Lee Hewison fished maggot on the waggler to the middle of Bridge to catch carp and a few silvers.
Having the aerator on to clear the ice was always going to affect the fishing today, but all anglers managed a few bites though. Steve Robbins fished expander pellet on the pole to catch small carp for the victory.
Neil Vernon fished bomb and corn to the edged of the ice and caught enough carp for second place today.
Martin McIntyre took third place fishing maggot on pole and netted carp and a few silvers.

Despite arriving to the lakes covered with ice this morning, fishery staff managed to clear pegs to have the match as normal. Paul McIntyre edged the overall win with a nice net of skimmers caught on maggot over groundbait and joker.

Gary Mumby took second place also with a net of skimmers today. Gary caught at 9m using casters over groundbait laced with jokers.
B Isl 6
Gordon Gibson opted to fish bomb and maggot just past his long pole line and netted bream to 2lbs in his third place net.
Gordon Gibson netted 50/50 carp and skimmers using pellet and maggot on the feeder to edge the victory today as the cold ice mixing with the water affected the fishing for all.
Stuart Gray fished long pole with expander pellet over feed to catch carp and silvers for second overall.
Pete Miles took third spot and the bonus silver prize with a net of all skimmers caught on long pole and some tidy pellet fishing today.
Following a few days with ice covering the lakes, a few anglers were keen to get out and fish once again today. Andy Oldham made the most of his peg and netted carp on the feeder and silvers on the pole for a nice mixed winning net considering the recent conditions.
Pete Miles edged the close second place with a couple of carp and a few skimmers caught on feeder and pole tactics with dead maggots.
John Barningham fished long and short pole using ground bait and casters to catch mainly skimmers for third spot.
